More Than 40 Years In The Photography Business

Original Photos started in 2015. After retiring his camera from travelling the world to capture concerts and events, photographer Graeme Plenter left Victoria for Brisbane. And what a career he had! Thirty-six years of registering the music scene, including photographing a Queen concert back in 1981 (yes, with Freddie Mercury) back home in Melbourne. How It All Started

Graeme first picked up a photo camera at the age of 13. He then started to work in the film processing industry in 1981 at Kodak, where he worked for ten years. Until then, photography was a hobby. 


He then took photography full time, registering one of the things he liked the most: concerts and events. He kept travelling for work until the 2000s when he decided to retire the camera and open a shop dedicated to photography and film.


That was the birth of Original Photos. A one-stop shop that caters for the needs of restoring and bringing old analog media, such as VHS and cassette tapes, into the digital world.

We are the only same-day film processing lab in Brisbane and open seven days a week. We guarantee on-site processing same day or overnight. We use the latest technology available to assist us in getting the best results for all the services we offer. All our work is completed in-house, so we also guarantee the quality of our work.
