Early Career:
Graeme began his career in 1981 at a 7-hour film processing lab. By 1987, he was Kodak Regional Lab Manager in Sydney, and in 1988, he moved to Kodak HQ Melbourne, working in the Quality Control Department for Kodachrome processing. Between 1988 and 1992, he managed the Kodak Lab in Hobart. -
Celebrity Photography:
In parallel to his work at Kodak, Graeme began his career in celebrity photography in 1982. In 1992, he left Kodak to pursue this passion full-time, establishing himself as a freelance media and celebrity photographer. -
Embracing the Digital Era:
In 1996, Graeme joined The Australian Antarctic Division’s Multimedia Department, gaining his first exposure to Photoshop 3.0 and photo restoration. This experience helped him adapt to the rapidly growing digital era of photography. -
Freelance Career Highlights:
Graeme’s freelance career spanned over 4,000 events from 1982 to 2018, capturing some of the most iconic moments in music history. -
The Original Photos Store:
Upon retiring from freelance photography, Graeme established The Original Photos Store. The store quickly became a local favorite, offering a personal touch to photo services in response to the growing trend of self-service photo processing.
